A Brief History
.
    Several years ago,  the CSF Site Team began as a support group for Bishop Claude  Miller who at that time was actively involved in a program that would eventually lead him to receive a Doctorate in Ministry from the Bangor Theological College.

        Out of that program, Claude, with the help of the CSF Site Team, eventually, after a lot of prayer and discussion, focused on Spiritual Direction and Spirtual Formation. As a result the CSF Site Team in conjuction with Bishop Claude decided to put in place some avenues to help those searching for Spiritual Direction and wishing to know more about Spiritual Formation.  There are several ways this may be approached:

First, the CSF Site Team plans to offer Retreats that would last two - three days.  These Retreats would bring people from across the Diocese together in a large group setting under the leadership of a well known Spiritual Director.

       Second, the CSF Site Team members would like to offer Spiritual Formation / Spiritual Direction Seminars in small group retreat settings using many of the gifted people of our Diocese, both lay people and clergy, as leaders/facilitator

        Third, it would be hoped that out of the first two approaches there would be individuals, both clergy and laity seeking out spiritual directors who would be companions along the way.
