"I describe God's purpose in creation as bringing God's dream into reality. God's dream begins to come true as the drama of creation unfolds. I regard Jesus as the pinnacle of creation. His role is central to the Christian faith. What I bring to this unfulding drama is my particular and individual self. My role is not only to emulate and follow Jesus but, in doing so, to assist in making God's dream come even just a little closer to reality."
