As of April 15 our unofficial campaign total is approximately $662,655 with $337,345 to go. That's up $42,857 since December 31, 2007. And that's $14,957 ahead of where we were this time last year.
Since the appearance of the campaign article the March NB Anglican, we have received approximately $5,985. That's approximately $1,000 a week over the following six week period.
We need to reach our $1million goal in order to provide Camp Brookwood with the $90,000 we promised them from the campaign to help refurbish their infrastructure. Much of that will be needed this summer. We also need $247,345 to pay down the loan we took out to finish the new main hall at Camp Medley.
If you have yet to send in your envelope from the March issue of the NB Anglican, why not do it now?
I wish to thank you again for your continued support and I look forward to receiving some more mail.
God Bless and let's keep the camps programs in our prayers as the summer approaches.

"For me, 'taking care' is as valid a definition for stewardship as any other. God gave all into our care. There is nothing for which we are not to care. Implied in this definition is God's generosity, God has given all to us. Our God is a God of infinite abundance. Implied in this definition is the call to nurture, to help develop and grow everything that God has entrusted to us. We need to remember the stories that Jesus told. He reminded his listeners that God's dream included the desire to expand, to multiply, to grow gifts and talents entrusted to one or other individual."

Children celebrate Mother's Day
Why did God make mothers?
• She's the only one who knows where the Scotch tape is.
• Mostly to clean the house.
• To help us out of there when we were getting born.
How did God make mothers?
• He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
• Magic, plus superpowers and a lot of stirring.
• God made my mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.
What ingredients are mothers made of?
• God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world … and one dab of mean.
• They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.
Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
• We're related.
• God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.
