Canadians respond to flooding in Pakistan with over $2 million in food
aid
- Pakistan Floods

PWRDF is responding to the recent floods in Pakistan. We have released an initial rapid response grant of $15,000 to support the work of ACT Alliance member Christian World Service Pakistan/Afghanistan. CWS is responding to the situation and has issued a primary appeal of 1.5 million USD.
PWRDF is also responding to the situation through the Canadian FoodGrains Bank by providing 1,000 food kits to the flood affected communities in Pakistan. This project is also part of the ACT appeal implemented by the Christian World Service Pakistan/Afghanistan. Read the CFGB media release.
- Le Tour de PWRDF

In June, 2010 PWRDF staff member Suzanne Rumsey rode her bicycle (Olive) 1300km from Halifax, NS to Ste Anne de Bellevue, QC to raise funds and awareness of PWRDF’s work in the world in Le Tour de PWRDF.
